Sculptures were selected for the Potsdamer Platz district from the Daimler Art Collection by international sculptors that were not previously represented in public spaces in Berlin: Jeff Koons, Jean Tinguely, Francois Morellet, Nam June Paik, Mark di Suvero, Keith Haring, Auke de Vries and Robert Rauschenberg. All of these works are very communicative; they provoke dialogue and associations.

And they are positioned so that no matter in what direction a visitor crosses through the area, he or she always encounters a sculpture. They are not intended to attract the targeted interest of museum visitors, but have been selected to enhance the urban context in conjunction with the architecture, and arouse thought and interest even with only a passing glance.
In the exhibition rooms of Daimler Contemporary at Haus Huth, artists and works from the collection are shown in changing exhibitions.
The collection is open daily from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. and entry is free of charge.
