In just a few years, Neo.Fashion. has evolved from a student graduation presentation into a major force within the German fashion industry. Today, it is regarded as the leading platform for emerging design talent in the German-speaking world drawing attention from industry experts, universities, and international media alike. In 2025, the format enters a new chapter: for the first time, Neo.Fashion. will be an official part of Berlin Fashion Week – in partnership with Potsdamer Platz, right in the heart of Berlin.
Neo.Fashion. offers graduates and young designers a platform to present their collections to a wide network of professionals and the public – from classic runway shows and curated exhibitions to digital formats. But the focus is not only on aesthetics: sustainability, future technologies, diversity, and new forms of collaboration are core elements of the program.
Since 2020, the initiative has pursued a clear goal: to give visibility to emerging talent, foster connections, and support long-term careers. It has grown into more than a showcase, it is now a future-oriented network connecting universities, industry, cultural institutions, and creatives on a lasting basis.
“With Neo.Fashion., we’re creating a platform where young designers can not only showcase their work, but also grow professionally and engage directly with the fashion industry [...]“,
says Jens Zander, CEO & Founder of Neo.Fashion., on the project's website.
The decision to host the event at Potsdamer Platz underscores this ambition. The location offers high visibility, public accessibility, and flexible space for innovative concepts – placing the event in direct contact with Berlin’s urban community.
Neo.Fashion. 2025 shows: The future of fashion doesn’t start with established names, it begins with those who step forward today with new ideas, new materials, and new questions.
