NOTAGALLERY: The Unrequested

Rethinking art: NOTAGALLERY opens a radical exhibition at Potsdamer Platz with The Unrequested.

Radical creativity free from convention: On January 10, 2025, NOTAGALLERY opens the first exhibition of the year under the title The Unrequested. In this exhibition, national and international artists invite you to question the traditional connection between art and the market. The aim is to explore true creative freedom, free from the constraints of the market, institutional validation and algorithmic influence.

The Unrequested calls for art to be seen as an autonomous force that thrives on curiosity, exploration and resistance. The works in the exhibition transcend the normative boundaries of what is considered “valuable” or “desirable” and offer a critical examination of the commercialization of art.

With works by Wojciech WoĹ›, Vilma Leino, Piotr Kolanko, Torsten Hesekiel Stendel, Esther Valerie Riegler, Raimund Schucht, Nan Zhao, Joana Lucas, Mirjam Dorsch, Jacob Runge, Tabea Jablonski and others.
