To mark the BMW BERLIN MARATHON weekend, the popular ‘Kindersprint’ event will take place on Saturday 26 September 2026, in collaboration with expika.

Kindersprint is a nationwide exercise programme for primary school children. On a specially constructed running course featuring light barriers, the children playfully test their reaction times, starting speed, coordination – and, of course, their personal best times. In the run-up to the event, teams with educational training visit schools in the region. There, the children qualify for the grand final, known as the ‘Endspurt’. However, children who have not qualified are also warmly invited to take part on the day of the event. The final is a thrilling event featuring sporting action, lots of fun and a large family audience. It is precisely this atmosphere that we’re bringing to our venue on 26 September.
