At Potsdamer Platz, his art returns to its roots in public space. Untitled (Boxers) is part of a group of sculptural works that the artist created in Germany in 1987, before his untimely death in 1990. The two boxers bring the comic-like style for which Haring is famous to the outside world. In an abstract and playful way, the artist depicts the duel between the figures, which he makes look more like friends than rivals. It has been part of the Daimler Art Collection since 1977.
