Berlin has plenty to offer this summer. But what's happening on July 10th and 11th at The Playce at Potsdamer Platz blows your average weekend activity clean off its feet — or more precisely: out of the Infinity Gauntlet.

On July 10th and 11th, The Playce at Potsdamer Platz belongs to the superheroes. We're celebrating the new Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes set with a free two-day event — open to everyone, whether you've been playing for years or have never held a card in your life. For over 30 years, Magic has kept its fans hooked with strange worlds, hardcore strategies, and unforgettable characters. Now the Avengers, Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, and the rest of the Marvel universe are joining the game.

What to expect: Spread across two floors, there's plenty to do. The main play area fits up to 100 people at once — staff on site will show newcomers how the game works, no need to feel like Dr. Strange on his first day at Kamar-Taj. Complete activities and you can win additional cards — including Oversized Card versions of the Fantastic Four. Head downstairs for more: a photo booth for the perfect shot, a Crane Game stocked with MTG products, and an interactive superhero training zone. Whether you bring Tony Stark's work ethic or Thor's overconfidence is entirely up to you. A free Draft is also offered every hour between 1–4 PM. In the DUO Flagship Store, you'll find a cozy lounge, Marvel comics to flip through, and empty comic frames where you can slot in your won cards. Share a photo online and you'll get an oversized MTG card on top. Nick Fury would be proud of this recruitment strategy.
