Shops open on Sundays in December

If you’re one of those people who prefers to do their Christmas shopping at a leisurely pace on a Sunday, we’ve got some really good news for you: On 6 and 20 December 2026, the shops at The Playce on Potsdamer Platz will be open from 1 pm to 6 pm. No stress, no rushing around after work – just a leisurely stroll through the shops, where you might just find the perfect present for your loved ones.

The best bit: it’s all part of Christmas at The Playce.. In the Christmas workshop on Level –1, you can glue, paint and get creative to your heart’s content – and there’s no age limit on creativity! Meanwhile, live music and street performers will have the whole family marvelling, singing along and dancing. The workshop is open every Friday, Saturday and on both Sundays when shops are open, from 3 pm to 7 pm, for all Christmas fans, big and small.

So grab your favourite people and turn your Christmas shopping into a proper Sunday outing. There are worse things, aren’t there?
